What documents can I use to prove residency?

ACCEPTABLE PROOFS OF RESIDENCY

The document should be within the last 8 weeks, show your name, and physical address (please note we do not accept a forwarding label from the post office)

• UTILITY BILL
• PAYSTUB
• MEDICAL BILL
• GOVERNMENT ISSUED MAIL (SSA, SSI, VET. AFFAIRS)
• LEASE AGREEMENT
• RENT RECIEPT
• ANY OF THE ABOVE AS VIEWED ON A SMART PHONE BY TOWN CLERK STAFF
• NOTARIZED VERIFICATION OF RESIDENCY BY HOMEOWNER or LANDLORD

These items tie you directly to a residence.We will NOT accept bank records, credit card statements, driver license (due to state practices for updating an address) as proof of residency.
