Elected Officials - Filing Deadline

TOWN OF NEWPORT FILING PERIOD
Filing period for Town Elected Positions begins Wednesday March 23, 2022 ends Friday April 1, 2022. Forms will be available at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours and by clicking the office below. Filing on the last day must be in person. The office will be open late April 1, 2022 until 5:00 p.m. for Candidate filings only.
The following offices are due for re-election:
2 Selectman (3 year term)
1 Moderator (2 year term)
1 Trustee of Trust Funds (3 year term)
1 Supervisor of the Checklist (6 year term)
