Red Flag Warning in Effect – No Burning Allowed Today 11/19
Chief Yannuzzi has issued a reminder that a Red Flag Warning is in effect for today, 11/19/24, meaning no burning is permitted in the Town of Newport.
If you witness any burning, please contact the Fire Department immediately at (603) 863-1416 or notify local authorities.
A reminder on Water & Sewer Bills
Water/Sewer bills were mailed Wednesday 10/23/24; payments are due Friday 11/22/24.
If you haven’t received your bill by the beginning of November, please contact the water and sewer billing office for amount owed at 603-863-8006. Thank you!
The NH Division of Vital Records will be updating the NHVRIN Plus and NECOD system on Wednesday November 20, 2024. The duration of this update is uncertain.
During this time, the Town Clerk’s Office will NOT be able to process requests for the following items: Birth, Marriage, Death or Divorce Certificates and Marriage Licenses.
