Can I get an estimate for auto transactions?

  1. Yes, in most cases we can help you.
    1. For a “New to you vehicle” we will need the VIN number.
    2. For a renewal we will your license plate number.
    3. You can get the estimate yourself by clicking HERE. (Literally clicking the word HERE)
  2. You cannot get an estimate for transferring plates over the phone or online. You would need to email a scan or photo of your title (front & back) or title application from a dealer AND your registration for the vehicle the plates are coming off to clerk@newportnh.gov with a note that you would like an estimate for transferring plates. We will get to that as soon as we can and email you back.
