Public Water System: Newport Water Works

Project: Filtration Plant and Water System SCADA Upgrade

Construction of upgrades and improvements to the Town of Newport, NH Water System’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system are financed by the New Hampshire Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund (DWGTF) administered by the NH Department of Environmental Services.

The water system improvements include replacing and upgrading instrumentation and control hardware and software at the Town’s water treatment facility and remote water distribution system facilities.
