What do I need to get a Certified Copy of a Marriage, Birth or Death record?
You must be requesting for yourself or a close family member (no cousins, no in-laws) or have direct and tangible interest in the record. We will need your government issued photo ID. If ordering a vital record online you will need to upload or email a scan or picture of your (requestor's) photo ID to clerk@newportnh.gov so that we can process your online request. Vital records are $15 for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy of the same record, printed at the same time. You will be charged $15 for the search even if we do not find the record you are looking for. Click HERE to request online.
