2023 Deer Registration Guidelines
The following guidelines will be used to facilitate deer registration this year.
General Procedures
- Deer registration services are only available between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
- Deer registration fee is $2.00
- Hunters will ring the front door bell for service
- In the interest of public/employee health, only Town employees are permitted in the building. Likewise, the Town’s staff will be unable to tag, weigh or otherwise handle deer.
- Hunters are requested to keep the registration and/or weighing area clean at all times.
- Please do not block or otherwise obstruct bays or equipment/apparatus areas and park 1 vehicle at a time in only the designated areas.
- You will be asked to move your vehicle if you are blocking or obstructing the area in front of the bay doors. Additional parking is available across the street in the public parking lot.
- If the department is out on a call for service there may not be anyone at the station to check-in a deer. You will have to come back at a later time, go to another check in station or go online.
